ABSOLUTELY!!! We had my daughters wedding Friday Sept.6,2019, everything was perfect ! Food, venue , staff were phenomenal ! Donna, Lauren , Maureen made our day perfect! The Essex Room and staff are amazing! They made our wedding day everything thing and more. We had an unexpected hicup during pictures and they made it go as smooth as possible and made me and the bridal party feel comfortable and at ease and no one had a clue anything happened! Truly amazing! I wish I could do it all over again! They put my vision to life and the food, the guests still can’t stop talking about it! I had such a great time at the Essex room!!! at Sam and Charlie McNeil wedding. The food was fabulous soup to nuts. If I had a daughter. I would definitely have the wedding here. The chef was fabulous and the after party was amazing. Can't wait to go back for seafood. Thank you donna of the Essex room you were wonderful!!!

We feel so fortunate to have found the Essex Room! Woodman's has long been a family tradition with us and Sam and Charlie wanted to have their reception there but we would have never guessed at the professionalism, expertise and support from Donna Roy and her whole staff. They were there every step of the way! As for the day itself, the room was beautiful, the food was perfect and staff was kind and accommodating. We can't recommend this venue strongly enough!!!

I don't even know where to begin! My husband and I had our wedding reception at the Essex Room almost 2 weeks ago and it was more than we could have ever dreamed of. Faye, Norman and Kristen made sure everything was taken care of and my husband and I didn't have to worry about anything (and I worry.. A lot!). 🙂 Maureen was also there to make sure everything ran smoothly which was an extra bonus. Chef Ned accommodated all of our guests various allergies and everyone enjoyed the food. Thank you to the entire Essex Room family for working with us to make sure our day was special! Additionally, thank you providing a great after party space at the Lobster Trap Pub. Our guests had a blast! 🙂
